World Stamp Show NY 2016 will takes place at the Javits Center in New York City from May 28 to June 4 2016.

World Stamp Show NY 2016 continues a 100-year tradition of once-a-decade international philatelic exhibitions held in the United States as selected by the American Philatelic Society (APS).

World Stamp Show NY 2016 will be held under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie and sponsored by the American Philatelic Society.

More than 3,800 frames of competitive exhibits will be visited by around 250,000 people over the eight days.

The show will feature about 200 philately dealers selling and buying philatelic material of all kinds.

Dozens of postal bureaus, including the United States Postal Service and United Nations Postal Administration will be selling their latest issues.

Priceless stamp rarities, including the world’s most expensive, the unique 1856 British Guiana 1c magenta stamp, auctions, seminars, youth and beginner activities, and first day ceremonies sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service and other nations will take place in Court of Honor.

Family friendly activities and events, including a large Youth and Beginner Area will be arranged.

The United States Postal Service is a major supporter and plans to issue several new stamps and souvenir items in conjunction with the show.
